What we collect
Your name and email from Google or your email sign-in; your store; your household answers (who's at the table and kids' ages, what you spend, dinner style, foods, allergies, kitchen tools, how you heard about us, referral code); your plans, list check-offs and Sunday check-ins.
Location
If you tap "Use my location", we use it once, on your phone or in your browser, to find nearby stores. We don't store it.
How we use it
To build your plans, show your savings, send the reminders you turn on, and understand what brings families to CartMath. Marketing emails only if you opt in.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. It is stored with our database provider (Supabase). If you share your household, the people in it see the same plan, list and savings.
Kroger
If your store is a Kroger, we get its prices from Kroger's official API. We send Kroger only your store's ID and the product IDs we need prices for. We share no personal information with Kroger: not your name, email, household, answers or location. We don't store Kroger prices: they're fetched fresh when you open your plan or list and kept only while the app is using them. To stay within Kroger's limits, we count how many requests each household makes, without what was in them.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist at cartmath.app, we keep your email, the ZIP code you give us, and where you heard about us, only to tell you when CartMath opens near you and to decide where to open next. We don't sell it or use it for anything else. To be taken off the list, email hello@cartmath.app.
Deleting
Settings → Delete account removes your account, household, plans, check-ins and savings.
